Croque-Monsieur
[INGREDIENTS]
2 Thick Slices White Bread
White Sauce*
(A)1 Tinned Tuna Chunks, 2 tbsp. Mayonnaise (mix together)
Shredded Cheese
Butter
Black Pepper to taste
Salad (leaf veg as a garnish)
*You can use ready-made white sauce instead of homemade white sauce
[Ingredients for White Sause]
3 tbsp. Butter
3 tbsp. Flour
1½ Cup Milk
Salt to Taste
【White Sause Recipe】
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat
Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the flour until mixture is smooth and bubbly
Gradually stir in one-third of the milk over low heat
Continue to slowly stir in rest of the milk, add salt to taste when the sauce is thickened.
【Croque-Monsieur Recipe】
Melt the butter in the frying pan, toast both side of slice white bread.
Take the frying pan off the heat, place 1 slice toasted bread. Mix ingredients (A) well and place on the toast.
Stack the other slice toasted bread, then cover it with the shredded cheese and the white sauce.
Bake in the oven for 8 minutes
Place the salad on the side as a garnish.
Croque-Monsieur with tasty crispy cheese.
